iPhone 4 China Launch May Zap Grey Market

Whith Apple’s official launch of the iPhone 4 in China this weekend, it should put an end to the lucrative grey market for unlocked iPhones in the country.
The New York Times this week, reported Chinese men and women regularly queuing outside New York Apple Stores to buy iPhones to send to China.

Japan’s SoftBank is investing $3.5 million in the developer of browser-based mobile games, MocoSpace, in a strategic round. So far, the company has raised a total of $10.5 million with previous investors including General Catalyst, Pilot Group and angel investor Michael Dearing.

Well, we were hoping that the Dell Streak in the United States would skip right to Froyo as we heard before, but we can’t be upset about an upgrade. That still may be true, as O2 users are said to be receiving the Android 2.1 update at the moment, while AT&T users are still stuck on 1.6. Only a few days off of the projected release date, we’re glad someone is getting an update.
