Remember Samsung S5200, the low-end-ish slider we saw back in April? Well, now we have more information to share about it. We’ve heard it’s about to hit BelCompany’s stores in the Netherlands for 129.99 EUR, which is about $182. Apparently, two versions of the device will be available — black/red and black/beige one — and they will come with a 2.1-inch QVGA screen, 3 megapixel camera with smile detection and LED flash, Bluetooth, music player, and we guess a microSD memory card… Read more
Two Taiwan Companies announced Android-smartphones

Computer devices producer Acer and telecom company Far EasTone Telecommunications Co situated in Taiwan announced their plans about releasing their own smartphones created on the base of open operational system Google Android smartphone. The Samsung Marcello spotted in Sprint’s leaked roadmap is apparently coming soon, as evidenced by some new pictures showing off the device in blue and purple. It’ll be bearing the market name M550 Exclaim, and feature a 2.6″ QVGA screen, 2 megapixel camera, EVDO Rev. 0, aGPS, and a distinctive dual-sliding layout. Despite varied speculation hinting at a 12-megapixel cameraphone from Samsung rearing its head at Mobile World Congress, word on the street is that Samsung won’t be bringing any mega-megapixel cameraphones to Barcelona. Telecoms Korea cites “a source familiar with Samsung’s internal marketing plans” in their report that Samsung will be holding off on launching their 12-megapixel beast for just a bit longer.
