T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) USA will be adding a new Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) device in its portfolio in the near future. Or at least it seems that the Swedish-Japanese handset maker hopes so, as I don’t see any other reason to go through the FCC approval hassle for the device that sings along T-Mobile’s AWS 3G — not that they could sell that on many other places in the world.

The entry-level Cyber-shot handset, Sony Ericsson C510, has been spotted at the company’s Canadian website, hinting us we could see this baby start selling in no time. Naturally the largest GSM carrier in the country, Rogers Wireless, instantly comes to mind as a potential partner for the Swedish-Japanese handset maker and we’ll probably see them announcing the new device in the near future.
