Well, there you have it, folks. It took the iPhone Dev Team no more than a few days to crack the new iPhone 2.2.1 OS. Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) went official with their new iPhone 2.2.1 OS firmware update for iPhone and iPhone 3G users just a few days ago, and The Team has already managed to jailbreak the new iPhone 2.2.1 OS!  The iPhone Dev Team has released an updated version of their iPhone jailbreak application, dubbed Pwnage Tool. IDCOL, BRAC Bank to finance IGW services

IDCOL (Infrastructure Development Company Ltd) signed a dollar loan agreement with Bangla Trac Communications Limited for setting up International Gateway (IGW) Services in Dhaka. Under the agreement, IDCOL will provide US$ 3 million financing to the project. BRAC Bank Limited is the other lender to the project that extended a loan of Tk 610 million. BTCL, as one of the four licensed operators of IGW, routes incoming and outgoing international calls to and from Bangladesh, says a press release.

The Nokia N96 ($775, unlocked) caused a lot of international buzz when it debuted earlier this year. Finally, ten months later, a U.S. version has shipped, but it wasn’t worth the long wait: Though this model has the same excellent multimedia and camera features as its predecessor, the Nokia N95, the N96 just doesn’t stack up to the competition at this point. The N96 lacks a touch screen and a full QWERTY keyboard, in contrast to the T-Mobile G1, the HTC Touch Pro, and the BlackBerry Bold. Warid Telecom Monday announced a special campaign for its Zem prepaid users for recharging their accounts with scratch cards. In this offer, Warid’s Zem prepaid subscribers will get 30 percent bonus talk-time by recharging their accounts with scratch cards of any denominations from Tk 100 to 500 and 20 percent bonus talk-time on Tk 50 recharge, said a press release.
